Roofed and walled permanent structures.

Description

Late 18th century cobble farm house now clad in brick, rendered and painted. Thatch replaced with slate and modern windows inserted in original openings. Two storey farm house with single storey middle section originally a barn. Flat roof modern single storey extension to right of main elevation on the site of a small single storey attached building set back from the main building. The barn at the left of the main elevation is the least altered element.

Historic Interest

Despite unsympathetic alteration the farm house retains its historic footprint and is evidence of early settlement.

Archaeological Interest

Original cobble fabric indicates the building and its curtilage has high archaeological potential.
