Description

A three-storey brick building with a pitched slate roof with brick ridge chimneys. There is a late 20th-century shop front on the ground floor with a canted doorway. The building retains historic six-over-six sliding sash windows with stone sills. The three-storey rear elevation of No 14 has been painted white. Extensions have been added in several phases, some of which may correspond with the footprint of buildings shown on the 1852 map. A projecting round bay with late 20th-century tall windows exists at ground-floor level. The building is shown on the 1835 tithe map. The apportionment lists the property as a house and garden occupied by Thomas Wilson and owned by Isaac Harrop.
