In brick with slate roof. Brickwork is all header bond, in buff brick with cream brick quoins and window surrounds. Current entrance to shop is on corner, entrance to living accommodation above is at the side. Distinctive wooden 'shutters' at side of upper windows' Currently subject to planning permission for extension at rear, which has already involved the demolition of single storey outbuilding, which also contained slaughterhouse. A prominent landmark, adjacent to 248, ex NatWest Bank.
