Description
A semi-detached, two-storey property dating to the last quarter of the 19th century. It is constructed from cream brick with a red brick dressing; these bricks are laid using a combination of English garden and a stretcher wall bound. The windows are elongated in a shape and are vertical sliding sash windows which feature stone sills and headers. The roof of the buildings is pitched with blue slate tiles. It has chimneys, finals and decorative ridge tiles. Other features include semi-circular doorways with fanlight and porch, two-storey canted bays, half-timber detailing, small front gardens and two-course sandstone boundary with coping wall and gate piers. The building is in a regular plan form and is of a symmetrical composition.
Identified as a 'positive contributor' to the Old Market Place Conservation Area.
