Description

A sky tip at Great Halviggan china Clay works (HER No. 27096.20), first recorded on the 2nd Edition OS 1:2500 revision of 1930, and visited by CAU in 1990 as part of the china-clay survey . Visible on aerial photographs and plotted as part of the NMP. Two conjoined sky-tips above the Gover Valley to the north of Burngullow Common (according to John Smith's sky tip report). Recommended by local Cornwall councillor, Dick Cole, for inclusion in the CLHL and as a potential candidate for statutory protection.
