Description

Police station. 2-storey, 4-bay right hand range is faced in Flemish bond red brick, with a later 2-bay range to left in stretcher bond brick, the roof is Welsh slate. Designed in 17th century domestic style. Entrance door to right of centre with lintel inscribed POLICE STATION. Moulded stone string course to first floor, all windows are 3-light stone mullioned windows, now painted and originally with sashes, now modern. A blocked doorway to centre of left hand addition is now a window. To the rear are late 20th century single-storey extensions and a car park reached from the side lane. Recent ramp added to front entrance from street.
