The Local Heritage List Platform can send notifications to configurable email addresses when certain things happen.
Registration
Optionally, an email can be sent when any new user registers, irrespective of whether approval is required.
Comments
Optionally, an email can be sent when a user leaves a comment on an Asset record. This is irrespective of whether moderation of comments is enabled.
Forums
Optionally, an email can be sent when a user posts in the Forum. This is irrespective of whether moderation of posts is enabled.
Actions on Assets
In future we will probably add a capability to send notifications when important actions are undertaken on an Asset, such as creation and status change.
