Description
Constructed from brick with white cement render, stone dressings and steeply pitched Westmorland slate roof. Main elevation is symmetrical and has 7 bays with gabled central entrance with stone surround, small round windows flanking the doorway and the Borough coat of arms above. 3 bays either side of entrance with raised gables to form half dormers in each centre bay. Simpler treatment to west elevation with long window flanked by smaller windows. Two windows to rear with single central gable with chimney stack. All stone dressings now painted. Set behind low brick wall with stone copings and gate piers.
The windows were all originally leaded but now boarded over.
