Constructed from red brick with red tiled roof. Ground floor has modern shop fronts attached and the entrance door appears to have been increased in height. First floor has square windows to first, second and fifth bays, (first and second bricked up) with stone lintels and sills, and brick Gibbs-style decoration to sides of the windows. Semi-circular windows to first, second, fourth and fifth bays of second floor (first and second bricked up) with brick surrounds and keystones. Upper storeys are rendered and divided by a deep red brick panel inscribed SHAW’S DEPOSITORY’ in white brick. Balustrade parapet to roof with a pair of coped brick Dutch style gables. The imposing façade is a dominant feature in the townscape and makes a positive contribution to the streetscene.
