Architectural and Artistic Interest

Yew Tree Farmhouse is a red brick Victorian construction, with a modern tile roof. The building has had a modern side extension, is a similar style to the main house, but the original symmetry of the property is still easily visible. To the rear of the property there is a projecting bay that runs at ninety degrees to the house. The window pattern is regular, with traditional timber sliding sashes. The central entrance door on the principal elevation is flanked by projecting bay windows with porch over. The two chimneys sit on either side of the original house.

Landmark Status

The house is easily visible from the High Street and encloses views up the road from the south.
