Description
A pair of large semi-detached Victorian houses, retaining their original form and architectural detail, a strong feature in the townscape. Built as a pair of semi-detached private residences, now a hotel. Probably of brick construction, now rendered and painted, with a Welsh slate roof and timber barge boards. Asymmetrical, 3 storeys with attic dormers, with five bays to the street elevation and a porch breaking forward on the west side. Double height bay to the right return containing a porch and side entrance to No.20. Each house has a canted double-height stone bay window and stone surrounds to paired windows on the first floor. All windows are uPVC replacements. The house has a large front garden, now paved with a re-built brick boundary wall.
