Description

LLB109 - Extended and altered two storey stone built cottage. Windows replaced – stained timber. Located in a prominent position at crossroads on brow of hill near centre of Parbold. One of a pair of semi-detached cottages. Not symmetrical in form to the other and stonework appears altered, therefore demonstrates substantial alteration and extension.

Group Value

One of a pair of semi-detached cottages occupying a prominent position in the village. Located within the Lancaster Lane Conservation Area.

Historic Interest

Mentioned in the book “A history of Parbold by J.M. Virgoe” on page 21 and page 46, old photographs from the early 1900s are shown.
