LLB123 - Brick constructed building with stone lintels and cills to front façade. Slate roof. There is a decorative canopy above the entrance, incorporating a lantern. Cobbled yard setting to the front. Modern extensions – particularly that in contrasting brick detracts from its appearance. Wood framed windows - replacements. Original cobble surface survives in front of the building.

Apparently originally the office for a manure wharf that was on the site in the early 19th Century. There is a brick built World War II Gun Tower in the back garden that was built to guard the canal as a major defence line.Date Listed
