Pop Up History at Runcorn Shopping City: Friday 7th January 2022, 10am-1pm

Halton Borough Council is working on an exciting new heritage project and we would like you help. Come along to Runcorn Shopping City to discover some interesting local history while you shop.

The Cheshire Historic Environment team is putting together a Local List of interesting and significant places in Cheshire and we would like to know what you think. What’s your favourite building where you live? Why are old buildings interesting? Does it have to be old to be important?

How about taking a moment of calm, away from the hustle and bustle of the January sales, to explore historic photos of Halton Borough and share with us which buildings and sites you think are important in your area.
