Architectural and Artistic Interest

Fine mixed coloured brickwork throughout. The bricks are most probably of local origin. possibly coming from the renowned local brickworks of H.G Matthews Ltd of Bellingdon, Bucks which was founded the same year of the build. Detail of brickwork matched throughout from the quoins to the chimnies and front porch.

Surrounded by numerous other heritage assets of the period and with either arts or crafts or MetroLand/pre-WWII architecture

Landmark Status

Located on a busy road near to the main road A416, Amersham Road leading north to Chesham and west to Great Missenden. A prominent setting on a large plot along with the neighbouring large detached houses. Chesham Bois Common is immediately across the road.
