Summer of Stories
Over Summer 2021, Buckinghamshire Culture commissioned 4 artists to visit parks, markets, Libraries and events across the county, to ask people what makes them happy in Bucks. They took an artist-designed Story Stall out to lots of places and spoke to lots of people. Many, many postcards were filled in. Story Stall also formed part of the first ever Open weekend in 2021 – which was themed to stories. Through this project we found that people really valued the beautiful landscapes in Buckinghamshire, our nature and wildlife and the spaces and places where they had made memories with families and friends.
