Historic Interest

This is the third Town Hall built in Beaconsfield. The first was built speculatively as offices by William Vare, as part of the development of the New Town. It was built in 1911 at the top of Gregories Road. The town expanded and a second town hall was built between Burkes and Station Road and this was the town hall from 1915 to 1936. Yet again the town expanded and the Town hall that currently stands on the site was build in 1936.
