Description

No's 64 & 66 High Street are Grade II listed (Listed Building (II) 1159168: NOS 64 AND 66 HIGH STREET). The BHP record notes the GII building as C17 or earlier timber framed, and presumably this is the reason for listing. It also notes in the building description that it was PETROL STATION (20th Century - 1900 AD? to 1999 AD?). However it is not clear whether the actual petrol pumps are a part of the listing, but given their prominence in the street scene, and their association with Roald Dahl, then they should be listed. These petrol pumps are within the Conservation Area of Great Missenden
