Late Arts and Crafts style built of early 20th century, with a central half-timbered double gable.

Group Value

The other similar designed buildings are merly around the corner at Bells Hill junction with Hollybush Hill, called Post Office cottages. A similar pair of semi-detached dwellings in Duffield Lane, called Hillcroft and Southcroft are documented as heritage assets in the West End Conservation Area.

Landmark Status

They semis' form a focal point adjacent to the Village Centre as well as being noticable at the busy junction of the major north-south road though the village: Bells Hill with Rogers Lane
