Simple, yet appealing design typical of the period. Constructed in red brick, later rendered & painted white. Pitched roof, adjoining The Old House to one side & hipped to other, covered with clay tiles. Couple of original chimneys visible, one to right-hand side & one visible above the roof to the rear slightly left of centre. Both in exposed brickwork & with 2 clay chimney pots. Front door set broadly centrally, into an evenly so slightly recessed porch. Panelled door, painted white, set into black painted wooden frame, with glazed demi-lune fanlight over. Symmetrical canted bays to either side, single-storey only, with wooden sash windows & frames. Glazing panels subdivided, windows painted white & frames black. Under matching pitched & hipped roofs, of clay tiles. Two sash windows to first-floor, one above each bay, with style corresponding to those beneath.Group Value
High - directly adjoining The Old House, Grade II Listed & located on Church Street, which is a core component of the Conservation Area & - as such - has numerous Listed Buildings, as well as others - such as the adjacent Old Chapel - nominated for Local Listings.Historic Interest
