Architectural and Artistic Interest

Red-brick semi-detached houses built for management of the local furniture factory. 3 windowed bays to ground and first floors on either side, with ashlar/stone lintel decoration and ledges. Prominent 'boxed' gables to either side, with moulded barge boards and decorative wooden embellishment. Decorative finial to apex, central decorative red-brick chimney to serve both houses. No front entrance, but doors to side. Original date stone: 'Woodlands 1903'.
