Medieval moat mentioned in historical records and surviving as earthworks Dimensions - Length 0054 m Width 0054 Plan Form - SQUARE WIDE & WELL PRESERVED (B1). APPEARS TO BE A MOAT. STILL IN GOOD CONDITION (B2). CLOSE CALLED BARDALLS WITH MOAT IN CORNER: PERPETUATES BARDOLPHYS GARDEN MENTIONED IN DOCUMENT OF 1449. A MOAT AT BOARSTALL CALLED A FISHPOND IN 1633 (BUT PROBABLY CASS 0317)(B5). AT NGR (B3). TILE & POT FROM SITE: 00:001-002.
