Architectural and Artistic Interest

Only surviving lodge to Wilton Park, one of the three great estates surrounding the town and an important mansion which was demolished in the 1960s. Half-timbered, similar style to lodges at Cliveden. Clay tiled roof with gable facing the A40 with oriel window and a gablet with bargeboards. Its tall red brick chimney with 4 tall chimney pots is a dominant feature.

Landmark Status

It is a gateway building standing at the head of London Road and retains its boundary railings. An eyecatching building in a prominent position.
