Early twentieth century Rothschild Estate building.
Two storey building prominently located along the northern side of High Street. Situated on slightly
raised ground close to the front of its plot the building is orientated so that the ridgeline of its gabled roof runs parallel with the carriageway. Two storeys with steeple pitched slate roof and external brick end stacks. Two gabled dormers break the eaves line. Ground floor constructed of red brick, first floor rendered in pebbledash between applied painted timber. Lean-to enclosed porch positioned centrally within front elevation. Porch flanked to either side by timber casement windows. Timber casement windows to each dormer at first floor level. Additional much smaller window positioned to left of porch (facing) at first floor level. This building It has been identified as a local note building because it retains the majority of its original features. and forms part of a group of Rothschild estate cottages within Waddesdon which are linked by their form and the use of similar construction materials and colour palette.
