Buildings, landscapes or structures in this category will have a wider presence in the street scene, contribute to group value or be of landmark status. Key landmark buildings or structures and buildings that strongly contribute to a particular view or vista. This part of the criteria includes, valued open spaces, such as, designed landscapes, streets, urban squares, parks, gardens, public green spaces, walls, fences, railings, street surfaces (including cobbles, setts or stone flags and verges). Street furniture (including signposts, streetlights, benches, post boxes and telephone boxes). Local heritage assets will generally have a vernacular aesthetic value.
