Roofed and walled permanent structures.

Description

Two storey villa constructed from red brick with stone dressings. Mullioned windows to ground floor with ornate central mullion but glazing missing. The house was derelict and at risk of loss but retained original fittings to exterior and associated cart house. Recently, it was reasonably faithfully rebuilt with some modern extensions which are clearly legible, the site was very overgrown and difficult to access.

Historic Interest

Late Victorian villa with many original features and cart house built to replace a cobble cottage. Latter purchased in 1892 and demolished and trees planted on the site as soon as the adjacent villa was complete.
