Description
House built of red brick with half-timbering and render, red tile roof. Two storeys. Asymmetrical, eclectic Tudor style with Arts and Crafts touches, two storeys. Elevation to Hornby Road is stepped, with a central entrance bay. The entrance is in a glazed Diocletian opening and has above it a balcony with lattice balustrade and a glazed door with a round-arched head. To the left a slightly projecting gabled bay incorporates a double-height bay window with probably original glazing including some coloured decorative motifs. The gable contains decorative timbering. Side elevation with a chimney breast rising from an inglenook through the gable. Small circular windows on each side at upper-floor level. A gabled bay with bowed full-height bay windows follows. The rear continues in the same vein and incorporates a very large window with an arched head and decorative glass probably lighting the stair.
