This asset type consists of parks and gardens and designed landscapes that are not already on the national register of parks and gardens of special historic interest, but add to the character of the local area and have heritage value.
They may include, but is not limited to:
- public parks and gardens
- remembrance gardens
- urban squares
- cemeteries
- privately owned landscaped parkland or historic gardens
