Historic arrangement of L-shape range of barn and farmhouse set back in a courtyard. The date stone on the barn records a date of 1771. The brickwork of the farmhouse appears later. This was one of many tenant farm smallholdings in Auckley and is a significant reminder of the rural origins of the village.
The barn is constructed mainly of handmade brick and has a large cartshed type opening to the yard and has been sympathetically restored, with new timber windows and doors.
